A&D Instruments India (A&D India), a wholly owned subsidiary of A&D Company Japan, set up its Sales and Technical Centre at Gurgaon, Haryana, in 2008. A&D Company, Japan is a world-class producer of advanced measuring, monitoring, controlling and testing instruments. Since its establishment in 1977, A&D has contributed to the development of industry and society through weighing and measurement.
Sharing about A&D India, L K Newseela, marketing manager, A&D Instruments India, says, “In India, we are responsible for promotion, sales and after-sales services of A&D products like electronic weighing balances & scales, viscometers, moisture analyzer, indicators, load cells, inspection products and medical products (blood pressure monitors).”
Explaining how the company ensures ease of accessibility for customers, she adds, “To ensure easy accessibility of products and services, today we operate through branch offices in Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore nationwide dealer’s network. A&D India strives to increase business coverage to cater to industries like jewelry (hallmarking & touch), food, pharma industries, research institutes, scientific/laboratories, and other industrial applications.”
A&D India at ANUTEC
Elated to be a part of the upcoming trade show ANUTEC in September, Newseela says, “We have very specific industry-related products. Therefore, platforms like ANUTEC have been instrumental in reaching out to the decision makers of our target customers.” Talking about their expectations from the event, she says, “We look forward to being able to reconnect with our existing customers as well as connect with new users to expand our network.”
A&D will showcase its full range of inspection products such as check weigher, metal detector, x-ray systems, moisture analyzer, and part of its electronic weighing products. She says, “Our target or focus customers will be food, pharma, cosmetics, among others.” The company will focus on basically any industry where inspection of weight and checking contamination (metal detection & x-ray) are required before packaging the products.

Sharing the company’s vision, Newseela informs, “A&D is driven to provide safe and profitable solutions to business owners in the packaging industry in India. The better the quality of packaging, the better products that land on the users.”
